Taylor grew up in Sicamous, BC and has lived in Grand Forks for over 15 years. He has been working in the industry since 2006, and became a Certified Utility Arborist (CUA) after working in both BC and Alberta removing trees in close proximity to energized powerlines. Through this he grew an interest in complex removals which lead him to specialize in hazard trees, saying they always challenge his skills in different ways; which keeps things interesting.

Taylor is also a passionate gardener and is knowledgeable about permaculture practices, which goes hand in hand with his profession. He is always happy to talk about sustainable gardening practices, plant choices and give recommendations. If he's not cutting down trees, he can usually be found in his yard with his dogs and chickens.
